Sharp edges

Can you keep a secret?

Can you hide a jewel?

It's been with me since '16

It was once just a dream

Should've been careful of what to wish for

Should've neglected the superficial

It's just a gem

What more did I think of it?

But it's yours now

Keep it well-maintained

or just throw it away

'Cause it does have its colors

but it hides when it's safe

So be careful to have a grip on it

but not too tight

Its edges are sharp

mind you

enough to break a rigid heart
