It was never just superficial,

not with you,

there was always an infinity in-between moments

hidden in those silent eyes,.

When your lips tapped my cheeks,

nay, my soul,

I could feel more than me,

more than you,

I could feel life,

you made me feel life,

then I was back.

Then, I was back.

But you're going now,

aren't you?

And I'm still here,

alive, at least, but alone

like the line I always was.

It feels like we've been here before,

I think we've been

and maybe we always will

so I don't mind it

as long as you, my parallel,

are somewhere in someway

apart but a part of me.
