You'll never get closure

You'll never get completion

Because life is no hero's journey

Read the books, watch the shows

But in your gurney, don't believe your memoir

will have a climax and denouement

If you have the chance to summarize it all in the end

and have those two dramatic elements,

You're likely lying

or memories are playing you

Because most days will look like every other day

There will be highlights

Rare, but they will come by

This is not pessimism, simply reality

and the reason why fiction sells better than autobiographies
