Hammock Doubts

The alcohol didn't kick in tonight

My eyes are still inside out

I wonder what I wonder about

As I take small swings on this very comfy hammock

Swing left, swing right

Why am I here?

I knew the answer yesterday

I didn't forget

I wanted a different answer

Now, I'm close to getting one

I know what it's going to be

but not how I'd feel about it

Perhaps 'tis why I keep going back to the start of the question
