Admiring Bukowski's love poems and despising them altogether

Dancing to Kanye's bangers while neglecting the controversies

Learning the fundamentals of all sciences but nitpicking every unproven theory

All this to preserve what you already believed in from the beginning

And you call it detachment

Biting only in an apple's sweet parts

and the rest, you dispatch them

Being a filter instead of a sponge

But the human mind is far more complex than kitchenware

Everything from everywhere gets to you no matter how hard you fight it

So, don't deny it

Who are you deceiving?

You suck on the marrow of life, remember?

Thrift store Flacko's endeavors

Taking what's yours then taking some more

The bad fruit is now in effect and the foundations of your truth have become unstable

Thus, in your cradle you ask, doubt, and worry

The laziest saying could've fixed your story

As now you reminisce, ignorance is bliss
